Introduction To The Course
What Does Our Safe Working at Height Cover?
Working at height remains one of the leading causes of workplace accidents, but with the right training, every job can be completed safely and efficiently.
Our NPORS-accredited Safe Working at Height Course equips delegates with the essential knowledge and practical skills to identify risks, select the correct access equipment, and implement effective fall-prevention and rescue measures.
When work is carried out at height, a harness is frequently a key safety requirement. That’s why we have merged the NPORS Safe Working at Heights (N404) with the Harness & Fall Arrest programme (N723) to create a focused one-day course designed for anyone whose role involves working above or below ground level.
We are also able to offer our own in-house HOV-accredited training if preferred.

More About Our Safe Working at Height
Any activity performed where a person could fall and injure themselves is legally classed as working at height. This includes work on ladders, platforms, scaffolds, MEWPs, rooftops, fragile surfaces, and elevated structures. Without proper training, the risks of falls, equipment misuse, and unsafe behaviour increase significantly.
This course is designed for anyone who works at height, supervises work at height, or is responsible for planning and risk assessing tasks where a fall could occur. Whether your team operates on construction sites, warehouses, industrial environments, or maintenance projects, this training ensures safe working practices are understood and applied correctly.
Choosing an NPORS-approved Working at Height course provides recognised, industry-accepted certification that demonstrates competence and safety awareness. Employers benefit from improved compliance, while delegates gain confidence in safely carrying out work at height tasks.
For teams using MEWPs or mobile access towers, combining this course with IPAF training or PASMA training ensures comprehensive height safety certification and complete site compliance.
