Tata Steel & Supply Chain Network: Free Courses Available At Heads of the Valleys Training

Tata Steel Funding From Government

Working with the Welsh Government in response to the closure of Tata Steel UK sites in Wales, a £2m funding scheme has been announced to support individuals affected by the closure by offering fully funded training courses.

The scheme has been implemented to allow individuals who work for Tata Steel or the wider Tata Steel Welsh supply chain network to access fully funded training courses to retrain and gain new skills.

The free courses include HGV/LGV driver training, Bus driver training, ADR Dangerous Goods training, Lorry Loader HIAB training and various forklift truck and machinery training courses.

Working in conjunction with Coleg Gwent, Heads of the Valleys Training has been appointed an approved supplier to deliver these courses to applicants.

This scheme will be available until 31 July 2024, providing the flexible support necessary to retrain and change your career.
