ReAct+

If you have been made redundant you could be eligible to receive tailored support to get you into employment in the shortest time possible.

To be eligible for ReAct+ support you must be aged 18 or over, be a resident in Wales and have a right to live and work in the UK.

You must also meet ONE of the below criteria:

  • Aged 18 or over and under formal notice of redundancy or
  • Aged 18 or over and have been made redundant in the last 12 months or
  • Aged 18 or over and are an ex-offender or an offender serving a community sentence or
  • Aged 18-24 and not in education, employment or training

Personal Learning Account (PLA Funding)

Personal Learning Accounts are currently only available to individuals currently employed by Tata Steel UK (sites in Wales) OR its wider Welsh supply chain (including at risk of redundancy), aged 19+ and living in Wales.. If you are not employed by Tata or part of their Welsh supply chain, please check back from August 2024.

Personal Learning Accounts are free courses that give you new skills and qualifications – ones that local employers are looking for – to help you take advantage of skills shortages and get your career really moving.

You can apply for courses such as HGV Class 1 & 2, Dangerous Goods (ADR), Lorry Loader (HIAB), Fork Lift Trucks and more.

You MUST meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 19 or older
  • Currently employed by Tata Steel UK (Sites in Wales) OR its wider Welsh supply chain
  • Living in Wales
