Who Are Heads of the Valleys Training?

Heads of the Valleys Training is a family run training centre situated in South Wales, offering bespoke training solutions to the transport, industrial and construction sectors.

Established in 1969, we are able to cater for all categories of vocational driver training, Driver CPC, forklift training and various other industrial and plant machinery training.

We are able to accredit our qualifications to several of the UK's leading awarding bodies, and offer bespoke in-house training solutions at customer premises across the country.

Training Made Simple

One-Stop-Shop For Driver Training

Remove the stress - we can book your driver medical, provide comprehensive revision material and arrange your theory tests prior to beginning your driver training. It has never been easier!

Approved DVSA Test Centre

Our dedicated training centre hosts our own private DVSA test facility, so you can train and take your test at the same site.

Funding Available

We can help with funding for your courses and qualifications, depending on your current circumstances. Contact us to find out what schemes and incentives might be available.

On-Site & In-House Training

The majority of our courses can be delivered at your site or workplace if required. Qualifications can be awarded to an accredited standard or an in-house certification is available if preferred.

Our booking system ensures you stay updated and compliant with automated booking reminders, course audit reports, electronic certificates and qualification reminders when Refresher training is due.

Free Accommodation

We are able to offer Free Accommodation on all of our driver training courses. If you are travelling more than 70 miles, take advantage of our residential options by staying at a local Premier Inn at no extra charge.

Driver Training Centre (Head Office)

Our vocational driver training is delivered from our Gilwern head office, covering LGV, PCV, Driver CPC and driver medicals, with our own private DVSA test facility on site so you can train and take your test in the same place.

Safety Training Centre

Forklift, HIAB, IPAF, PASMA and workplace safety courses are delivered at our dedicated Blackwood centre, alongside a wide range of other industrial and plant machinery training.
