About Periodic Driver CPC

In order to keep your LGV or PCV Driver CPC in date, you must complete 35 hours of Periodic Driver CPC training every five years.

The 35 hours are divided into five, seven hour ‘modules.’ Each module contains a different topic. You are able to repeat modules should you wish. The 35 hours do not all have to be completed within one week – you can split these up over months or years, however your DQC will not be issued until the final hour is complete. Periodic Training is classroom based, and is attendance only. There is no pass or fail – as long as you attend, you will gain the hours.

We recommend that all drivers who hold a DQC complete one module each year – this is a far more smart and cost effective way of maintaining your Driver CPC.

In order to attend courses, you will need to hold a valid and in date licence. We will perform all necessary licence checks prior to booking.
